April 25 - CPA Annual Meeting
From CPA President, Don Ducey:
On April 25, we’ll be holding our Annual General Membership meeting. We had the first meeting last year in conjunction with our 10th anniversary, and from the comments I got, it seemed to be well received. As last year, the purpose is to give members a chance to offer their thoughts and opinions on our activities and direction going forward. I have been very impressed with participation from our long time volunteers and newer ones such as Julia Daniels and Bob Culver, whose contributions have made this great club even stronger. Events like the recent collaboration with the YMCA and Reedy Creek Middle School to help develop eight new young photographic artists demonstrate the strength and commitment of our members. While the club remains a strong presence in the Triangle photographic community, we still need to constantly think about how we can improve and offer more support for our membership. So, I encourage everyone to attend and hope we get a great turnout so we have a strong voice from the most important asset of the club, it’s members.”
